Hotel surrounded by nature in San Vigilio di Marebbe

Between the spring, meadows and woods of the Dolomites

Aqua Bad CortinaJust 250 metres from the centre of Al Plan / San Vigilio di Marebbe,
Aqua Bad Cortina lies where the village gives way to meadows, woods and the Fanes Dolomites.

Our historic 100% BIOhotel stands beside the Rio San Vigilio and around its own mineral spring,
in a place documented since 1315 and known for its mineral baths since 1780.

Here, everything is far enough away to rediscover peace and quiet,
yet pleasantly within reach.

From the house, towards Fanes and Plan de Corones

Directly from Aqua Bad Cortina, meadows, woods and trails lead towards the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park and the Dolomites,
a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The boundary of the Nature Park lies less than 2 km from our house.

In summer, walks, hikes and cycling routes begin at the bridge, right in front of the house.

In winter, the Marebbe Valley cross-country ski trail passes directly by the hotel.
For alpine skiing, Plan de Corones / Kronplatz, part of Dolomiti Superski, can be reached via the village or,
in just 2 minutes, with our “Defender Ski Concierge”, which takes our guests to the private ski depot directly on the slopes.

Our location in the heart of the Marebbe Valley also makes it easy to discover Val Badia and Val Pusteria and,
for many experiences you can simply leave the car at the hotel.

With the Guest Pass, our guests can also use public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge
for the entire duration of their stay.

Here, still close to the village centre and already immersed in nature, our guests find a genuine luxury:

Peace and Quiet.

From the top floor of Aqua Bad Cortina, the webcam looks across the San Vigilio stream,
the meadows and the woods towards the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park and the Dolomites,
a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the foreground, you can see the ABC garden and organic vegetable garden, the stream,
the Kneipp path and the bridge that connects the house directly to the woods and to numerous trails for walks and hikes, both in summer and winter.

These elements still tell the story of Aqua Bad Cortina’s historic connection with water,
nature and its mineral baths.

In winter, the cross-country ski trail of the Marebbe Valley also runs through this same landscape.

This webcam looks into the heart of Aqua Bad Cortina: the house, the courtyard and the garden,
nestled between the woods and the mountains.

The view also includes the historic “Slopetara”, the old shooting range of San Vigilio, and, on the left,
part of the award-winning ciAsa, built in solid timber.

Among the features of today’s Aqua Bad Cortina,
you can also see the canopy with photovoltaic panels,
beside the green spaces of the courtyard.

It is a view that brings past and present together:
a house that has grown over the centuries around its own mineral spring
and historic baths – today a 100% BIOhotel.

In the background, beyond the house, rise the Dolomites of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park,
a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
